--- DE PUBLIEK RUIMTE IS VAN EN VOOR IEDEREEN --- --- DE PUBLIEK RUIMTE IS VAN EN VOOR IEDEREEN --- Vorige week dinsdag 7 januari viel mijn oog op de rubriek 'Verzameling' in @hetparool Hierin was een verzameling van Jacks Spijkerman met foto's van afgesloten bankjes te zien, letterlijk afgesloten met een slotje en zelfs grove kettingen of door het parkeren van fietsen. Het triggerde mij om weer eens in mijn eigen beeldbank te duiken met niet publiek toegankelijke bankjes in de openbare ruimte die ik in de loop der tijd tijdens wandelingen heb vastgelegd. Laten we - ongeacht wie ze heeft geplaatst - het volgende afstpreken: Een bankje in de openbare ruimte is een publiek bankje. Misschien is het een idee om i.p.v bordjes 'PRIVE' stickers te maken met: 'Uw bankje staat in de openbare ruimte en is daarmee een publiek bankje, het verzoek óf het slot óf het bankje te verwijderen - alvast bedankt voor het delen van uw (be)zitplek.' @dutch_hostile_architecture | @wetboek.van.mafrecht | @theurbandetective #hostilearchitecture | #publicspace | #placemaking
Vanmiddag bezoekje gebracht aan @koepelgevangenis Vanmiddag bezoekje gebracht aan @koepelgevangenis in #arnhem. Indrukwekkend le vorm, grootte, architectuur en functioneel ontwerp. De koepel en het gevangenisterrein wachten op herbestemming en ontwikkeling.Benieuwd hoe dit er uiteindelijk uit zal zien.
